Screen Enclosure & Motorized Screen FAQ

Straight answers about our services, cost, financing, permits and how our screens handle Oklahoma weather.

Services

What is the best patio enclosure for Oklahoma weather?

For most Oklahoma homes, an aluminum-framed screen enclosure paired with motorized retractable screens works best. The screen room keeps mosquitoes out all season, while the retractable screens lower in seconds for sun, wind-driven rain and privacy.

What is the difference between motorized and retractable screens?

Retractable screens roll up into a slim housing when not in use and can be operated by hand or by motor. Motorized screens add a motor so the screen raises and lowers with a remote, wall switch or smart-home control, which is ideal for large openings.

What is the difference between a screen enclosure and a screened porch?

A screen enclosure is a complete aluminum-framed screen room built around your patio. A screened porch adds screens to a porch that already has a roof and columns, using the existing structure.

Can screens be installed on outdoor kitchens and garage doors?

Yes. Motorized screens are custom-made for large openings, including outdoor kitchens, entertaining areas and garage doors.

What colors are available?

Frames come in White, Tan, Champagne and Bronze. Motorized screen fabrics include SunTex 95 in White, Mocha, Bronze, Chestnut, Carbon and Black.

Cost & financing

How much does a screen enclosure cost in Oklahoma?

Cost depends on the size of the openings, the product, your frame and screen color choices, and whether motors or smart controls are added. Every project starts with a free in-home consultation and a written quote.

Is the consultation free?

Yes. In-home consultations and written quotes are free, with no obligation.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing is available for projects up to $200,000, with no home equity required and all credit welcome.

Process

How does the process work?

We start with a free in-home consultation, then provide a custom design and written quote. We handle city permitting, and our experienced crews complete the installation on your schedule.

Do I need a permit?

Many screen enclosure and porch projects require a permit from your city. We are familiar with permitting in Tulsa and the surrounding cities and handle the paperwork from start to finish.

Who installs the screens?

Our own experienced installation crews handle every project.

Weather & area

How do screen enclosures handle Oklahoma heat and storms?

Heavy-duty .048-inch extruded aluminum frames provide reliable shelter, while fine mesh lets air move to keep the patio cooler. Motorized screens lower quickly when storms roll in.

Do I need a screen enclosure near lakes and rivers?

Homes near the Arkansas River, Keystone Lake and area parks deal with heavier mosquito pressure and humidity. Corrosion-resistant frames and tight mesh keep pests out.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Owasso, Bixby, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Glenpool, Claremore and Coweta.

Ready to use your patio again?

Free, no-pressure in-home consultation and a written quote. Most homeowners hear back the same business day.
